The Climate Guide gives general information on seasons and climates for the areas of Africa that are currently featured. Weather, by its very nature, is hard to predict but East and southern Africa does have fairly defined seasons, which we have detailed as a general guide.

When To Travel highlights some of the main attractions and natural phenomena that happen month by month. It's not exhaustive, but does give a good idea of when to see The Migration, Turtles hatching, wild flower blooms, or the best times to go Gorilla tracking, as examples.
