The Residence*****
Inspired by turn-of-the-century plantation houses, The Residence is reminiscent of the palaces of yesteryear. The hotel is located on the East Coast on a 1 kilometre stretch of soft white sand, fringed by tropical gardens. There are 135 rooms and 28 suites, each with a private balcony or terrace. All rooms and suites have a king size or twin beds, air-conditioning, desk, living area, fully stocked personal bar and large marble bathroom with separate bath and shower. There are many activities available to guests including complimentary water skiing, windsurfing, snorkeling and tennis. Gastronomes will not be disappointed either – the finest ingredients and local spices are blended to create mouthwatering and memorable menus.

Beau Rivage*****
Located on a superb beach at Belle Mare in the east of the island, Beau Rivage has a natural class and relaxed elegance, without being ostentatious. Le Maritim****
The Maritim Hotel lies on a 25-hectare private estate along Turtle Bay (between Port Louis and Grand Baie) on the north-west coast of Mauritius. All 180 rooms are in the 2 wings stretching from the main building in a slightly elevated position overlooking the bay. All rooms have a magnificent sea view and room facilities include private terrace or balcony, bath with shower, hair-dryer, air-conditioning, TV with in-house video and mini-bar. The white sandy beach in front of the hotel is approximately 500m long and protected by a coral reef. Hôtel 20° Sud (Hotel 20° South)****
This intimate boutique hotel is situated in a private estate surrounded by coconut groves in the northwest of the island overlooking Grand Baie. With just 27 individually designed rooms and 2 suites, each guest at the hotel is guaranteed personal service and attention to the finest details. All rooms have air-conditioning, a private terrace or balcony, queen size beds, flat screen LCD TV with free ADSL WIFI Internet access, mini bar, hair-dryer, coffee & tea facilities and a personal room safe. Each room has a spacious en-suite bathroom with stand-alone bathtub and separate double shower. Situated on the water’s edge, the hotel’s restaurant serves superb meals using the finest local produce.
