The Beyt al Chai is an exclusive 6-room boutique hotel within an 18th century traditional Zanzibar house situated in the heart of Stone Town. Just a short distance from the sea, the house is cool and breezy and the top floor bedrooms have wonderful views of the Ocean.

Everything about the Beyt al Chai rooms is as authentic as the great house itself. The 5 fully en suite bedrooms and suites are uniquely designed with their own character – with genuine antique furniture and fittings reminiscent of the days of the Sultan. Every room is fully air conditioned, and there is a ceiling fan so that you can open the window and enjoy the breeze should you wish. In-room amenities include, tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryer, ceiling fan and air conditioner.
