Dwyka Tented Lodge

Dwyka Tented Lodge is a luxury safari lodge located in Sanbona Wildlife Reserve. Situated on a horseshoe bend of a dry Karoo ravine, the lodge has 9 luxurious and secluded tents.

Each tent has air conditioning, indoor and outdoor showers, en suite bathroom with free-standing bath, mini bar, electronic safe and private deck with plunge pool.

Sanbona Wildlife Reserve has the Big 5 – Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Elephant and Rhino, as well as various other species such as Gemsbok, Springbok, Hartebeest, Eland, Kudu, Black Wildebeest and Zebra. Natural small game such as Jackal, Caracal, Aardwolf, Ant bear, Brown Hyena, Grey Rhebuck, Steenbuck, Klipspringer, Grysbok and Common Duiker also continue to thrive.

Game drives traverse the landscape of the reserve with a qualified ranger in comfortable open Landcruisers. During the drive, be it in the early morning or for sundowners, various species of plants, animals, big game and birds can be seen. Sundowner evening drives offer spectacular displays of light as the sun sets over the Little Karoo. Optional walks with the guidance of a ranger are also available. From gentle strolls, taking in the beauty of the indigenous fauna and flora, to challenging trails discovering isolated bush, these walks reveal the beauty of Sanbona Wildlife Reserve.
