Fancourt

Fancourt is a leisure and golf resort situated in the heart of the Garden Route. Ideally located just seven kilometres from both George Airport and the historic town of George, the resort is superbly landscaped on 613 hectares of countryside with the Outeniqua Mountains as the backdrop.

The main hotel has a total of 115 guest rooms on offer consisting of 68 luxury rooms, 45 one-bedroom suites and 2 two-bedroom suites. All rooms have full air conditioning, international satellite television, direct dial telephone, mini bar, separate bath and shower, wireless Internet, international plugs and digital safe.

The Manor House at Fancourt is Fancourt's original homestead, built in 1859, and is a new luxury boutique hotel. With the Outeniqua Mountains as its backdrop, the Manor House offers guests both natural beauty and supreme luxury. Accommodation includes 18 luxury suites comprising of one Master Bedroom suite with two bedrooms (155m2), four Grand Suites (73m2), and 13 Luxury Suites (60m2).

There are three Gary Player designed golf courses, a Spa, a Kids Club and a variety of restaurants at Fancourt. Swimming beaches are easily accessible and mountain biking, horse riding, picnics and hikes can be arranged. Sightseeing excursions in the picturesque coastal towns of Knysna, Plettenberg Bay and Mossel Bay are also available.
