La Plume Guesthouse

La Plume is a 1902 Victorian homestead on a working ostrich, alfalfa and vine farm. It is set in the Olifantsrivier Valley with fantastic views of the Swartberg Mountains.

Accommodation consists of 12 suites and luxury rooms which are spacious and cool. A family cottage with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 lounges and a kitchenette is available for groups or a family wanting space as well as privacy.

Activities in the area include bird watching, mountain biking or hiking among the fynbos and rare succulents. Guests can visit the world's only meerkat conservation programme and enjoy a walk with these little creatures. The location is within easy access to natural hot springs, nature and wildlife reserves, the Cango Caves, ostrich show farms and wine estates. Alternatively guests can just relax around the pool set among gardens with never-ending views.
