Hartford House

Hartford House is a boutique country house hotel situated in the KwaZulu Natal Midlands. The property forms part of the Summerhill Stud Farm at Mooi River.

Accommodation is in 16 spacious and luxurious suites, including Lakeside Suites, Main House Suites, Garden Suites, Pool Suites and Verandah Suites. All of the suites are individually decorated and have en suite bathrooms, under-floor heating, heated towel rails, fireplaces and a mini bar.

The award-winning restaurant, recently voted No1 in KZN, and among the country's top 10, serves sumptuous meals either overlooking the magnificent gardens or in the candle-lit dining hall. It has one of only 10 five-star wine lists in South Africa.

Hartford House is the only world-class hotel on a world-class racehorse stud in the world. A personalised tour of Summerhill Stud includes the stallions of the Rulers of Dubai.
