Cleopatra Mountain Farmhouse

Cleopatra Mountain Farmhouse is located in the heart of the KwaZulu Natal Drakensberg overlooking a lake which in turn is surrounded by gardens with fantastic views over the mountains.

Accommodation consists of 11 suites made up of 5 Standard Suites, 3 Luxury Suites, 1 Executive Suite and 2 Executive Cottages. All suites have tea/coffee making facilities, mini bar, hairdryer, TV, air conditioning, bath and shower, fireplace, stationery, safes, laundry service, private patio and mini fridges.

Cleopatra's is situated in the Kamberg valley close to Giant's Castle Nature Reserve, and all the normal mountain pursuits such as swimming, walking and hiking are available. Highmoor Nature Reserve makes up 90% of the property's border and has just been declared a World Heritage Site because of its inherent beauty. It is a 10 minute drive from Cleopatra in a normal vehicle.

Hiking in the spectacular mountains, guests can often see many buck species and there are many endemic bird species to be seen. Swimming in the mountain pools is a must, as the waters are clear and untouched by human habitation. Horse riding is also an unforgettable experience. Trout fishing is available in the river and in nearby dams.
