Riverbend Lodge

Riverbend Lodge is situated within a 14,000 hectare private concession flanked by the Zuurberg Mountains in Addo Elephant National Park.

Accommodation consists of 8 luxurious suites. The 4 Luxury Suites are spacious and beautifully decorated with en suite bathrooms. They also have inter-leading doors, making them ideal for groups or families. The 3 Executive Suites offer style and elegance in spacious, individual en suite bedrooms with private outdoor showers and secluded verandas. The Honeymoon Suite is the ultimate in luxury and offers complete privacy with a veranda, outdoor shower and private plunge pool.

Addo Elephant Park is home to the Big Five and the region is also steeped in history. Private game drives are conducted inside the National Park or in the 5,000 hectare private Intsomi Reserve. The Intsomi Reserve, accessible exclusively by RiverBend Lodge, is also home to various species not seen in Addo Elephant National Park such as Giraffe, White Rhino, Gemsbok and the endangered Bontebok.

Guided walks are conducted in the Intsomi Reserve where guides focus on the smaller creatures and plants. Joining one of the guides on a night drive allows guests to search for some of the indigenous nocturnal species to be found in the area.
