Otjibamba Lodge

Otjibamba Lodge is a popular stopover for visitors on their way to northern Namibia and the Etosha National Park. Otjibamba is set in its own private game ranch which harbours game species such as giraffe, impala, oryx, kudu, and ostrich amongst others.

The lodge consists of a main building that houses the reception area, a cosy lounge, curio shop, bar and two restaurants. The lounge and restaurant leads to a well kept garden and swimming pool.

Tastefully designed in an afro-colonial style and furnished to match its natural surroundings, rooms are laid out as air-conditioned chalets, which offer privacy, space and comfort.

There are 12 en suite double rooms and 8 en suite twin rooms, which are all spacious and have WC, bath or shower, desk, comfortable chairs and a veranda overlooking the landscape. All rooms are air-conditioned and have telephone and TV facilities.

Visitors are encouraged to explore and enjoy one of the marked walking trails. This provides for an opportunity to view the animals on foot making for an extra special experience. The duration of walking trails vary between 15 minutes and 2 hours.

The indigenous trees along the walking trails are labelled for identification and the abundant bird life is enjoyed by many. There is also a waterhole which lies directly in front of the lodge.
