Canyon Lodge

Canyon (Cañon) Lodge is an excellent base from which to explore the natural wonder that is the Fish River Canyon. This luxury lodge is only 20km from the main viewpoint of the Canyon and is situated in the Ai-Ais-Richtersveld Transfrontier Conservation Park in the privately owned Gondwana Canyon Park.

The design and architecture of the lodge, situated between huge granite boulders, pays tribute to its surroundings in a unique manner. Accommodation consists of 25 thatched, wooden en suite units that are positioned in such a way that the boulders form part of their structure.

Like the rest of Canyon Lodge, the swimming pool blends into the landscape. The restaurant, originally a farmhouse, has been lovingly restored and offers a breathtaking view of the majestic Fish River Canyon. The traditional Namibian cuisine offered is surpassed only by the spectacular surroundings.
