The Stiltz

The Stiltz in Swakopmund consists of luxury wooden cabins built on stilts, ensuring spectacular views of the nearby Atlantic Ocean, Swakop river bed, the lagoon with its rich variety of birds, and the sand dunes of the Namibian desert.

The Stiltz has 8 cabins consisting of 3 twins, 4 doubles and one honeymoon cabin. Each has been individually decorated, and has en suite bathrooms, coffee/tea-making facilities, mini bar, a small safe for valuables, as well as heaters and blankets for chilly Namibian nights. Special touches include rosewood door frames and handcrafted copper light fittings. Each cabin has a balcony where you can sit on custom-made director chairs and admire the peaceful surroundings. Each private cabin is connected to the main cabin by means of wooden walkways.

The main cabin houses a restaurant where guests can enjoy a memorable breakfast with a view. There is also a small lounge where you can admire the scenery from the comfort of couches made from locally-sourced bluegum wood. Although the atmosphere at The Stiltz is that of peace and quiet, the town of Swakopmund with its restaurants and activities is only a 15-minute walk away.
